Curdworth is a small, friendly village in North Warwickshire with beautiful rural surroundings and with easy access to road and motorway networks. Located in the village you will find St Nicholas C of E Church, Curdworth Primary School, Post Office and general store as well as two public houses – The Beehive PH and the White Horse PH, both of which serve food. You will also find a range of independent businesses and commercial organisations within the parish.
The 200 year old Birmingham Fazeley Canal runs through the Parish, parallel to the A4097 road. Leaving the village centre and turning left on the canal towpath will take you under Spaghetti Junction on the M6 motorway and on into Birmingham (the Venice of the Midlands). Turning right on the towpath will take you into the beautiful Curdworth Cutting which is a designated Wildlife Area in the current North Warwickshire Local Plan. Then through the 80 metre Curdworth Tunnel and on down the flight of Curdworth locks, under the bridges of the M6 Toll Road and the A446. Further on you go through Kingsbury Water Park and on to Fazeley, where the canal splits turning north and south into the Midlands network of canals.
The Parish Council owns and maintains a number of facilities in the parish, which include the Village Green and King George V Playing Fields which have a number of recreational facilities eg skate park, play area, cricket wicket, football pitches.
